<p>Drug addiction is a social-cultural threat and has serious impact on national defense. It required comprehensive approach as it would influence the quality of next generation. Treatment for drug addicts called rehabilitation process one stages detoxification process, where drug-class substances are removed from addict's body. The current uses pharmacological non-pharmacological methods. Acupuncture through NADA (National Detoxification Association) protocol can be to by overcoming weakness previous therapies. This article narrative review last ten years published in PubMed, Embase, Google Scholar, Elsevier. literature aims study whether or not acupuncture beneficial therapy proven with scientifically based evidence. result then could become consideration stakeholders make standard users Indonesia.
